Mendo's father has got him a private bodyguard who turns out to be the mindless, illiterate and rather unintuitive Shingo, now a ninja. Shingo meets Ryoko and she decides to use him to cause some trouble and have fun. She convinces Shingo to elope with her causing Mendo and Ataru to follow them. Of course Lum is coming to keep Ataru away from Ryoko. But as usual Shingo gets carried away and Ryoko starts using his explosive equipment and Shingo uses his ninja techniques to defend himself, with Ryoko intensely helping him what he does is make things worse.
