Commissioner Marie Brand moved from the Cologne department for burglary and theft to the homicide department. Her colleague Jürgen Simmel, a ladies' man, is always ready by her side. The two make an excellent team: Brand with her great deductive skills and Simmel with his more pragmatic approach.
