Tells the story of a small resistance group in North Limburg towards the end of the Second World War. Believing that the Netherlands will be liberated any moment, a group of inexperienced partisans embark on a daring adventure. They disarm more than thirty German soldiers and keep them prisoner in a camp in the Peel area. But the Allies are defeated at the Battle of Arnhem, the front lines are immobilized and the Partisans end up in a dangerous situation. A bleak autumn is approaching. An autumn none of them will ever forget.
