Victor Frankenstein (Leonard Whiting) is a newly trained doctor, engaged to Elizabeth Lavenza (Nicola Pagett). After Victor's younger brother, William, drowns, Victor renounces God and declares he would join forces with the devil if he could restore his brother to life.
