At 40 years old, Samson Brion, Paris police officer, is forced to go into hiding. After 15 years of absence, he returns to his hometown, Brittany, where he promised himself that he would never return. Knowing his reputation, a local woman asks him to investigate the death of the son he has just lost. He refuses to believe the version of the gendarmes, who are convinced that it is a suicide. Brion soon realizes that the case is related to the dating agency run by Lila, a childhood friend who is angry with him for leaving. But they are forced to investigate together. Furthermore, the only free accommodation Samson finds is an apartment in Lila.
