Set in Apulia during Ottoman invasion of Otranto, the film tells the story of Flavia (Florinda Bolkan), a nun who collaborates with the invaders' leader Gedik Ahmed Pasha (Anthony Higgins (actor) as Anthony Corlan) to avenge her past misfortunes.
