A kind and good King (monarch) and his lovely and gentle Queen (monarch) in a faraway monarchy. They are the joy of the kingdom and their love brings happiness to the land and all its people. They have a beautiful daughter blessed with lips as red as blood, hair as black as ebony, and skin as white as snow, and name her "Snow White." Sadly, shortly after Snow White was born, her mother, the queen, dies of a mysterious illness, and the king remarries.
